ANALYSIS
Wooten spent the majority of his career in the minors, pitching last season at the Double-A and Triple-A levels for the Reds, but he did crack the Brewers' active roster for parts of three different seasons from 2013-15. He finished his career with a 5.03 ERA, a 1.41 WHIP and 53 strikeouts over 68 innings in 71 appearances at the MLB level.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2015
2014
2010
Wooten shuffled back and forth between Milwaukee and Triple-A last season, appearing in a career-high 40 games with the Brewers. He doesn’t bring much of a repertoire to the mound, but he doesn’t walk batters and has given up just two career home runs in 62 big league innings. He will be in the running for a bullpen job in 2015.
Wooten slowly worked his way up the minor league ranks and saw his first big league action in 2013. Wooten hardly possesses dominant stuff, but he figured out how to get batters out in the minors, posting a 2.88 ERA over five seasons, and he held his own in his big league debut last year. Wooten will get a chance to compete for a spot in the bullpen during spring training.
Wooten recorded 29 saves between High-A Brevard County and Double-A Huntsville in 2009. He's had remarkable strikeout numbers throughout his minor league career and had an 11.2 K/9IP at Double-A last season. Despite having a very good slider, Wooten's problem is that his fastball tops out in the upper 80s and that may cause him problems at the big league level. He's already 24, so there's not a lot of time for improvement. Wooten will likely start the season at Double-A and may get a look in the Brewers' bullpen in the next few years.
