Cote announced Tuesday that he is retiring from football, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun & Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Cote played 11 years in the CFL, all for the Stampeders. The fullback served as a team captain for six of those seasons and played in a total of 195 games. He finishes his football career with 40 carries for 143 yards and 113 catches for 1,160 yards and 13 touchdowns.
