Will fight Kape in April

Nicolau lost to Brandon Royval via KO (strikes) at 2:09 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 44 on Saturday in Kansas City.

He ducked down a couple minutes into the fight and was greeted by a crushing knee from Royval which set into motion the set of events which ended Nicolau's evening. The Brazilian entered on a six-fight winning streak, with his last defeat prior to this coming against Dustin Ortiz way back in July 2018. Nicolau has a window to recover from this setback considering he turned just 30 years of age in early-January, but it's going to take some time. Set to face Brandon Royval
Nicolau agreed to fight Brandon Royval (wrist) in a flyweight bout at UFC Kansas City on April 15, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
