Spurs Defeat Pistons, 123-95
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the visiting Detroit Pistons, 123-95, at Frost Bank Center on Sunday.

While there were nine lead changes in the opening 10 minutes, San Antonio never gave up the lead after a 29-23 first quarter. They took command with a 34-17 second quarter and closed it out with a 30-23 third quarter. The Spurs led by at least 20 points for the closing 30 minutes, getting their lead up to 34 points at times. San Antonio shot 54 percent from the field and 44 percent from three-point range while holding Detroit to 39 percent from the field and 24 percent from long range. The Spurs also out-assisted the Pistons, 33-17.

The Pistons (14-68) were led by James Wiseman, finishing with 21 points, 17 rebounds and two steals. Marcus Sasser had 17 points, three rebounds and seven assists. Jaden Ivey accrued 13 points and two assists, while Jared Rhoden led the bench with 16 points, four rebounds and two assists.

The Spurs (22-60) were led by Sandro Mamukelashvili, collecting 18 points and eight rebounds. Zach Collins compiled 17 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Blake Wesley had 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals, while Tre Jones tallied 11 points, six rebounds and six assists. David Duke Jr led the bench with 15 points and three rebounds.

That marks the end of the season for both of these teams. Detroit finished with the worst record in the NBA, while San Antonio finished 14th in the Western Conference.
