Thunder Dominate Shorthanded Spurs
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the visiting San Antonio Spurs, 127-89, at Paycom Center on Wednesday evening.

The Spurs were without Victor Wembanyama and Keldon Johnson, and the Thunder took full advantage by jumping out to a, 34-11, lead after one quarter. The hosts stayed in control through the second and pushed their lead up to 33 points by halftime. The Spurs brought a better effort in the third but could not cut into the deficit and trailed by 34, heading into the final quarter. The Thunder cruised through the fourth and closed out a third straight win.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 26 points, six rebounds and five assists, in 26 minutes of action. Josh Giddey followed up with 20 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and a steal, while Gordon Hayward totaled 18 points on 6-for-8 shooting, off the bench.

Meanwhile, Zach Collins led the Spurs with 20 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks, in 26 minutes. Sidy Cissoko followed up with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Raiquan Gray and Tre Jones chipped in 13 points each.

The Spurs (20-60) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Nuggets on Friday. The Thunder (55-25) play host to the Bucks on Friday.
