Darvish exited in his last start Wednesday against Miami due to what the team labeled as a hamstring injury, but after further evaluation, he's instead dealing with a groin-related issue. His move to the IL is backdated to Thursday, making him to be eligible to return June 14. He'll be joined on the IL by rotation mate, Joe Musgrove (elbow), with San Diego calling up Randy Vasquez and Logan Gillaspie from Triple-A El Paso to take their spots on the 26-man active roster.
