According to Bryce Kelly of The Durango Herald, Agbim was quoted saying "with it being my last year, I'm not hitting the portal to be a reserve" for his 2024-25 season. He recently averaged 15.5 points across his 33 games (26 started) for Fort Lewis' 2023-24 team. Meanwhile, Wyoming's team was impressed with Akuel Kot, who transferred to the Cowboys from Fort Lewis.
