2024 Fantasy Outlook
Brown is entering his third year with the Commanders. Aside from running a 4.46 40-yard dash, Brown’s agility and explosiveness tested slightly above average. At six-foot, 195 pounds, Brown may benefit if settling into a role in the slot. However, with less than 170 yards and 13 receptions in each of his three seasons, it would appear unlikely that Brown is in line for a breakout season. That said, if Jayden Daniels is a huge success and the new offense catches fire, Brown could be a factor, especially if Terry McLaurin or Jahan Dotson miss time. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Quiet 2023 campaign
Brown caught 12 of 23 targets for 168 yards and a touchdown in 17 games during the 2023 season.
ANALYSIS
The 2021 third-round pick had a quiet year apart from his 35-yard, game-tying touchdown in the final minute of an eventual loss to the Seahawks on Nov. 12. Brown had just two catches for seven yards the rest of the season and played more snaps on special teams than offense in each of Washington's final five games. He'll need to compete for a roster spot in 2024, the final year of his rookie contract.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
First-round candidate?
Brown could be the fourth wide receiver selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
ANALYSIS
It's widely assumed the first three receivers selected will be LSU's Ja'Marr Chase and Alabama's Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle. There are a host of players competing for the No. 4 spot, including Minnesota's Rashod Bateman and LSU's Terrace Marshall. Brown, out of UNC, has typically been discussed as a Day 2 pick, but he apparently has some chance to sneak into the later part of the first round.

2021
A 2021 third-round pick, Brown has drawn only 39 targets in 30 career games, mostly serving as Washington's fourth or fifth receiver. He averaged 18.7 yards per catch at UNC and ran a 4.46 40 coming out of college, albeit at only 189 pounds. Brown isn't in the mix for a top-3 role this offseason, instead competing with a group that includes Marcus Kemp and Dax Milne for depth spots behind the lead trio of Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson and Curtis Samuel.
