Huntley agreed to a contract with the Browns on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ANALYSIS
Huntley will stick in the AFC North after serving as one of the primary backup quarterbacks behind Lamar Jackson in Baltimore over the past four seasons. The 26-year-old is set to join Cleveland on a veteran minimum deal, according to Tom Withers of the Associated Press. With four accrued seasons under Huntley's belt, this veteran minimum deal should carry a base value of one-year, $1.13 million. He'll likely compete with Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson (hip) for the primary backup role behind starting quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder).

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could draw Week 18 start
Huntley could be in line to start in Sunday's Week 18 matchup against the Steelers with Lamar Jackson a candidate to sit out the contest for precautionary reasons, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Ravens were able to secure both the AFC North title and the conference's No. 1 seed with their 56-19 win over the Dolphins in Week 17, making the game against Pittsburgh meaningless from Baltimore's perspective. The same is far from true for the Steelers, however, and the possibility of their aggressive pass rush getting to Jackson could prompt enough concern for head coach John Harbaugh to ultimately decide to sit the talented quarterback and leading MVP candidate.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
2021
Huntley's value to the Ravens has been cemented over the last two seasons as he's made eight regular season starts and one postseason start in that span. Lamar Jackson's return means that Huntley will remain a backup whose fantasy value is tied to Jackson's availability. Over the last two seasons (13 total appearances), Huntley has completed 65.7 percent of his passes at 5.8 YPA with a 5:7 TD:INT. He's been effective as a rusher with 431 yards (4.8 YPC) and three rushing scores. Jackson's durability concerns keep Huntley on the outskirts of the SuperFlex radar but even if he gets a shot to start, he's shown to be a low-ceiling passer.
